CHARACTER

Name: Ahsoka Tano | Snips | Little One | Padawan | Padawan Tano | Commander Tano | Youngling
Canon: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Wing Color: Dark burgundy

Canon Point: End of Episode 5.05: Tipping Points
Canon Point Explanation:
During the last few episodes Ahsoka has been left to handle the recent mission by herself rather than have her Master with her. It's a challenging mission for her because she's been ordered not to fight but instead simply to teach others to fight (though she couldn't stay out of it). More importantly it's a lesson "love lost" for her as Ahsoka is teamed with a boy she has feelings for. Unfortunately, he's come to have feelings for someone else and Ahsoka has to learn to cope with that. Not only does she have to deal with that, but also the life she failed to save.

History:
Ahsoka was born on the planet Shili which is the Togruta homeworld. She lived there until the age of three when she encountered Jedi Master Plo Koon and was brought by him to live and train at the Jedi Temple. It’s there where she stayed for nearly a decade learning the way of the Jedi and preparing for when she would become a Padawan. When she was about fourteen (which is apparently young for a Padawan even though Obi-Wan was thirteen when he became one and Anakin was like 10), Ahsoka was sent to Christophsis by Master Yoda to deliver a message to Masters Kenobi and Skywalker, as well as to become a Padawan for one of them. First came the message delivery was that Yoda wanted them to return to the Temple but they were still in the middle of a battle to take back the planet from the Separatists.

With it decided that they couldn’t leave just yet they turn their attention to the new Padawan. Turns out Ahsoka wasn’t assigned to Master Kenobi like they thought but to Anakin who hadn’t wanted an apprentice. Whoops, seems like there’s been a misunderstanding. In the meantime she stuck with Anakin, meeting his Captain Rex who she would have many adventures with. It was at that point when the Separatists activated a deflector shield which made it impossible for the clones to use their cannons. She was the one who suggested they sneak in to destroy the generator and Anakin agreed with her. They hid beneath a bin as both the shield and the droids passed right by them.

Anakin Skywalker: You're reckless, little one. You never would have made it as Obi-Wan's Padawan… but you might make it as mine.

However when they began to move they bumped into a droideka which put up its shields instantly making it harder to kill. Anakin told her to run and that act made the droid drop its shield and allowed them to destroy it. Her over eagerness to get to the generator caused her to set off a sensor for a droid that had been buried beneath the surface. While her master dealt with the droid, she set the charges but another one snuck up behind her. After slicing it up, Ahsoka pushed it away and it rolled over several more sensors. To deal with them she pulled a wall down on them, luckily it had a hole in it so she didn’t crush her master in the process. Now safe they blew the generator and the tide was turned in their favor. Anakin accepted her as his Padawan and they returned to get their next assignment.

They were sent to Teth to rescue the son of Jabba the Hutt. When they got there they were met with Separatist forces but they made quick work of them and got inside the monastery. Once they found the little Hutt, quickly named Stinky, they returned to the rest of the troops only to find that reinforcements had arrived. The Jedi retreated to search for another way out while the troops held off the droids but they were cut off by Ventress. So they were forced to keep going, on one of the native giant bugs to where they’d spotted a transport off in the distance. When they got there they cut down the droids and hijacked it for themselves. While they tried to go back for the troops there was too much blasterfire and Stinky needed medical treatment. Luckily they had Master Kenobi’s men to fight alongside and so they made their way to the Cruiser.

Or they would have if there wasn’t also an aerial battle going on making it impossible to dock with the ship. They would have to go all the way to Tatooine in a rusty bucket. During the trip, Ahsoka treated Stinky before helping her Master and Artoo attempt to get the ship into better shape. However, once they reached Tatooine there were enemy ships waiting to shoot them down. Seems that Count Dooku wanted to negotiate a treaty with the Hutts and shut down the Outer Rim Lanes to the Republic. While they destroyed the enemy their ship was damaged and they had to crash land into the desert below. So they began their trip through the sand toward Jabba’s palace.

They were forced to separate when Dooku came near, Ahsoka took Stinky and ran while Anakin held off the Sith Lord. Turns out there were some strong droids waiting for her there and she fought them off but Anakin reached the palace first. He was almost executed as Jabba believed that they had killed his son and had come to finish him off too. Luckily Ahsoka showed up and helped reveal the plot while returning Stinky to his father. Except that didn’t help at all and now Jabba was going to kill both of them.

Ahsoka Tano: Does this always happen to you?
Anakin Skywalker: Everywhere I go.

Good thing Padmé had been back on Coruscant unraveling the mystery on her end. One of the other Hutts, Ziro, had plotted the whole thing and the Senator made him confess to Jabba. Anakin and Ahsoka were free to go and a new treaty was put in place for the Republic. Now they just needed to wait for a ride off the planet. Their first official mission as Master and Padawan was a success.

They went on to do other missions together which included Ahsoka riding giant birds of prey and podracing, which she failed terribly at. Again, their missions were completed and Ahsoka learned a couple of valuable lessons. Word around the galaxy was that there was a new Separatist weapon that no ship or even a person has ever survived. The pair was just hanging around the Bith system when they were contacted with Plo Koon, the Jedi who had found Ahsoka. As they were talking to him, communications were cut as their ship was attacked. It was her that wanted to go looking due to her relationship with the Jedi Master but they were ordered to stay put. She didn’t like that.

Anakin ordered her into a smaller ship and said that they’d scout ahead when really they were going to search for survivors. They were ordered by the Chancellor to turn around but Ahsoka used the Force to sense that Plo Koon was still alive and they managed to rescue them just in time. When the few survivors were on board they were informed about a ship called the Malevolence which carried an ion cannon and was capable of knocking out all electronics and leave any ship floating dead in space. Whoops, there it is. Time to get out of there.

It wasn’t long after when they learned that the ship was heading for a clone facility that held more than 60,000 wounded. Anakin devised a plan that would hopefully be able to destroy the Malevolence by sneaking up on them using a smuggler’s route through a dangerous nebula full of Neebray mantas. While they caught the ship by surprise most of their squad was taken out and it was Ahsoka who managed to convince her Master to change tactics. So Plo Koon suggested that they fire upon the ion cannon itself so that it would overload itself, and the plan worked. The cannon was destroyed but the ship was limping away.

To make matters worse a Naboo cruiser was suddenly in the middle of it. What was a mission to destroy the ship was now a rescue mission to board the Separatist ship and save Padmé. Kenobi and Skywalker went to collect the Senator while Ahsoka stayed behind to assist Koon. While he was on the Malevolence, Anakin reset the navicomputer so that the ship would crash into the nearby planet and finally be destroyed. Hurray, it was finally over and the Republic won this particular battle.

Again, she participated in a series of important mission for the Republic including defending a planet, finding R2-D2 and the Separatist spy that turned out to be another droid. She went with another Jedi Master, Luminara Unduli, to guard the captured Viceroy Nute Gunray only to lose him when Ventress made an appearance and a guard turned against them. Not to mention she saved Kenobi and Skywalker from being eaten by a gundark when they were trapped inside its cave.

Ahsoka Tano: I get so confused sometimes. It's forbidden for Jedi to form attachment, yet we're supposed to be compassionate.
Aayla Secura: It is nothing to be ashamed of, Ahsoka. I went through the same process when I was your age with my own Master.

Her next exciting mission came when they went to rescue Master Aayla Secura from her destroyed cruiser except in the process, Anakin was injured and their ship damaged. It went into hyperspace and took them far from the battle but also they were heading directly into a star. They managed to escape by shutting down the power and they crashed on a nearby planet. While she didn’t want to leave her injured Master’s side, she went with Secura to find the locals to see if they could help. Eventually they found the Lurmen, pacifist creatures who wanted nothing to do with their war but they convinced them to treat Anakin. When they got back to their makeshift camp, it was just in time to save Rex and her Master from a pair of wild animals.

After Anakin was treated they went back to the Lurmen village as they waited for him to get better. Except nothing is ever that easy and Separatist troops landed nearby. They were ordered out of the village by the leader who didn’t want to get caught in the middle of their fight. While they were out surviving they saw the enemy’s new weapon – a cannon capable of destroying every living thing but allowed the droids to continue to operate. At first all they were going to do was sneak into the base and steal a shuttle to leave the planet but they learned that the weapon was going to be tested on the Lurmen village. With some ingenuity and eventual help from the Lurmen, they defeated the new weapon just in time for a pick-up from their own troops.

Sometime after, they traveled to Naboo and Anakin sent Ahsoka to search for Padmé and Jar Jar who had lost contact with them earlier. She came across another Gungan who had seen the pair earlier and discovered a secret underground base. When her Master joined her, they blasted through to rescue the captured pair and also Dr. Vindi. While they were successful in both the deadly Blue Shadow Virus was released inside the lab – trapping Ahsoka, Padmé, Jar Jar and several clones inside. Ahsoka and the clones were the first to be infected but they instead went to work to keep all of the droids from getting out. In the meantime, Kenobi and Skywalker went in search of the cure. They arrived in time to administer to antidote before they all died.

Anakin Skywalker: "It was a trap, Snips. It wasn't your fault."
Ahsoka Tano: "I lost so many of my pilots."
Anakin Skywalker: "Take heart, little one. That's the reality of command."

When the planet Ryloth was taken over by Separatists Anakin and Ahsoka were dispatched to break through the blockade and allow other troops to land on the planet. Ahsoka was given her own squadron to command but her stubbornness prevented her from pulling back before most of them were killed. Upon her return to the Resolute she realized her error and began to doubt herself. Yet her Master would not accept that and devised a plan to ram their other cruiser into the Separatist command center by himself. And he told her that she was in charge while he was away.

With the sudden responsibility of all those lives on her shoulder and the life of her Master, Ahsoka plotted to approach giving the enemy ships their underside. This would allow their pilots to leave the hangers without being immediately fired upon and destroyed so they could finish off the rest of the ships. Her plan was a success and the blockade was gone, allowing Kenobi and Windu’s troops to pass by relatively unharmed. Oh and it’s time to retrieve her Master from his escape pod. Later they flew down to the planet to provide air support while Windu took back the Ryloth capital.

During a battle on Felucia, Ahsoka disobeyed orders to pull out and needed some severe influence to get her to leave. Upon her return to the Temple, she was disciplined and put on security detail in the Temple archives. While she found it boring at first, it turns out that there was an intruder. One that Kenobi and Skywalker attempted to chase but eluded the pair. Ahsoka managed to catch his accomplice and found out just who it was and where the bounty hunter, Cad Bane, was going next with the holocron he’d stolen. Her punishment was over as quickly as it started and she went with her master to chase down Cad Bane to get the holocron back as it held all the names of the known Force-sensitive children.

While they were too late to save the Jedi who was responsible for holding the crystal to activate the holocron, they could still go after the items. They boarded Bane’s ship and followed him down to one of the holds where they battled with the droids. When Bane escaped, Ahsoka went after him on her own only to be captured. The bounty hunter used her as bait to get Anakin to unlock the holocron and while they were busy trying not to get sucked out into space, Bane escaped. Now they needed to get off the ship before it exploded and so did Bane. The bounty hunter stole a trooper’s uniform and snuck on board their ship. He managed to escape the Resolute with the information and the Jedi were left chasing after him once again.

Now they had to stop Bane before he could kidnap any of the Force-sensitive children. While they were too late to stop him from taking two of them, Anakin and Ahsoka caught up with him on Naboo and prevented him from taking a Gungan child. With Bane in custody they were able to figure out where he’d stopped and while Kenobi and Windu went to retrieve the holocron, they went to Mustafar in hopes that the children would be there. Turns out they were. However, the droids were loyal to Darth Sidious and were going to take them away while sinking the entire platform into the lava. Luckily, they were able to rescue the two infants and leave the planet with them. The holocron was retrieved but Bane got away.

After that they traveled to Geonosis (a second time for some of them) to destroy a weapons factory that had built up in their absence. The trouble was getting to it. There were three teams, Ahsoka went with her Master but they were shot down before they could arrive at the rendezvous point so they had to fight their way there from the ground instead. While successful all of the teams took heavy casualties and it was only by combining all three that they were able to fight their way to the bridge leading to the factory. Anakin was left in charge of destroying the factory while Kenobi and Mundi went off to recover from their injuries. Once again Unduli made an appearance, this time with her own Padawan, Barriss.

Unduli had come up with a plan of her own. While the Masters and troops kept the attention of the droids the Padawans would sneak in through the catacombs below and blow up the power generator. However, the Padawan’s were discovered and faced a battle when they reached the generator. Ahsoka was knocked out, and the bombs were stolen but Barriss managed to take control of one of the enemy’s super tanks. In order to complete their mission, Ahsoka used the super tank to destroy the generator but it brought the whole place down on their head in the process. They were now buried in the rubble and slowly running out of oxygen. It was only thanks to the mechanics her Master taught her that she was able to send him a signal that allowed him to locate them. Using the Force the Masters moved the debris away and saved the Padawans. They were then shipped off to get some rest.

The two of them wouldn’t show up again until after the battle for Geonosis was over. While the Masters were off doing other things the Padawans were sent to pick up medical supplies and supposed to deliver them. Again, things can never go just like planned. During a meal they were suddenly attacked by a pair of clones but it didn’t just end there – most of the clones seem to be acting differently. They’d taken over the ship and only the Padawans were left unaffected by the strange alien worm-like creatures. Against her better judgment they split up and Ahsoka headed toward communications to contact her Master.

During their time apart, Barriss had been captured and converted with the brain worm and attacked her. Ahsoka managed to escape. Her Master told her that the creatures could be destroyed by the cold and that she needed to rupture the coolant system. While doing that took care of most of the clones, Barriss was tougher than that and met Ahsoka in the cockpit. There they fought and the other Padawan gained enough of herself to tell Ahsoka to kill her. However she couldn’t and lucky she didn’t because it wasn’t long after when Barriss passed out, the brain slug dead. The ship docked safely with the medical station but Ahsoka herself was so out of it due to the cold that she was barely conscious herself. Instead she was treated and woke up to see her Master hovering over her bedside. Before he left she questioned him in whether she made the right decision in saving Barriss’ life. Anakin reassured her that she did the right thing in saving as many lives as possible.

She had several more missions after that, one she took on herself when her lightsaber was lost and Ahsoka didn’t want to tell him. Another was when they and Kenobi crash landed on Felucia and came across a village who was being harassed by pirates. It was her first time meeting Hondo but certainly not the last. Her next important encounter was alongside Master Koon. Together they chased down the bounty hunter Boba Fett and his crew where she once again ran into Hondo but that’s not the important part. After the capture of Boba Fett, Ahsoka chased after Aurra Sing in order to save the hostages she had. She managed to do that and destroy the ship before the bounty hunter could escape, also thinking that Sing had died in the explosion as well.

Ahsoka continued to do more missions without her Master, including saving two daughters from the Separatists. Though it wasn’t an official mission and more something she did because a friend was in need. Anakin sent her to teach a lesson to the future leaders of Mandalore and she ended up helping them uncover a corrupt government official alongside several of the students. She was left behind on Coruscant to give her report on the events of Mandolore while her Master went off on a mission but it was anything but a small break. During her time at the Temple, she began to have visions that involved Sing and so she began to investigate. With the feeling that Padmé was in danger, the Padawan went along with her to Alderaan in order to protect her. As it turned out there was a price on Padmé’s head and Sing did show up. The bounty hunter was captured and they returned home to Coruscant to face Anakin. She was able to provide enough details for the Senator to realize that Ziro the Hutt had hired Sing. When they confronted him, Ashoka tricked him into giving himself up which ensured he’d be there an extra long time.

Sometime later, her Master left her in Padmé’s hands so that his Padawan might learn something about politics. Together they travel to a forbidden world, a Separatist world, for the Senator to get in contact with one of her old friends. They attempt to talk peace and Ahsoka met Bonteri’s son, Lux, there for the first time. While peace was something most of the Separatists wanted Dooku already had a plan to stop the motion of peace and to keep the two fighting even longer. He sent droids to bomb the Senate building on Coruscant and killed Lux’s mother, making it look like the opposite side had done this act. There would be no peace.

Older Ahsoka Tano: There is a wildness to you, young one. Seeds of the dark side planted by your master. Do you feel it?
Ahsoka Tano: No! He is like no other Jedi! Passionate, impulsive... but I trust him with my life!
Older Ahsoka Tano: There are many contradictions in you. And in him. Be warned, you may never see your future if you remain his student! Leave this planet!

This next part is weird so bear with me while I get through it. So the Council received a 2000 year old Jedi distress code and sent her out with her Master and Kenobi to investigate. When they got there they were sucked into a brilliant white light and next thing they know, they’re on this beautiful planet. Eventually they are approached by a beautiful glowing female called Daughter who is taking them to see Father. On the way, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan are separated from Anakin and apparently told to wait there but they go back to the ship because the message was never relayed. When the reach the area they’d landed their ship is gone and darkness seemed to bring bad weather. They’re confronted by Son who told them that he is basically the personification of the Dark Side of the Force. He warned them to take shelter from the storm and left. Doing as he said, they find themselves in a cave with glowing crystals and have odd dreams/visions. Ahsoka was confronted by an older version of herself who warned her about staying with her Master.

The next morning they were scooped up by Son and Daughter and used as a test against Anakin. He was to choose which one to save – in the end he saved them both. Father wanted Anakin to stay on the planet to keep his children in check because he was dying by the Jedi refused. So they instead chose to leave the planet. However, before they could, Ahsoka was taken by Son and infected with the Dark Side. When Anakin came to rescue her she was completely consumed and attacked him. She fought with Obi-Wan as well when he showed up and she stole the dagger that could kill any one of these three powerful beings. Ahsoka handed it over Son and suddenly, he was done with her and she died.

But that’s not the end because Son went to stab Father but Daughter jumped in the way and instead she was nearly killed. There was one last thing she could do though, and that was to give Ahsoka life and rid her of the darkness put inside her by Son. Whew, that was close. But now the Force was out of balance – darkness would be stronger with the light gone. They didn’t exactly care though, they just wanted off the planet. Okay, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan didn’t care but Anakin did and he went to find out how to make things right again while she fixed the ship in his absence. It was his turn to go Dark Side on them because those cookies were just so good that Son was offering. (Ahsoka really doesn’t know what happened to turn him to the Dark Side.) Obi-Wan went after him and learned of this – he contacted Ahsoka to destroy the ship she just fixed so that Anakin and Son couldn’t escape the planet and then come pick him up. She was literally hanging to the ceiling when Anakin stepped into the shuttle. It was the only time she saw him corrupted as Father erased the memories Anakin had been shown of his future.

When they met up with him again, Anakin was back to normal, having no memories of his brief Dark Side encounter. Father used the dagger on himself and since Son’s power came from him it rendered him mortal, allowing Anakin to kill him. A flash of light and the three of them were back on their shuttle, the realm of Mortis and the three powerful entities dead. They were able to contact Captain Rex who said they’d only been gone for a few seconds when they’d really been gone several days. Like I said. Weird.

Her next important mission wasn’t really an assigned mission at all. In fact, Ahsoka went against her Master’s orders to go on the mission because she believed he was being overprotective. They were to infiltrate a prison known as the Citadel to rescue Master Even Piell that was designed to hold even a Jedi. She allowed herself to be frozen in carbonite and put onto the ship with the others who were going. By the time Anakin found out they were already defrosted and on the surface of the planet, there was no going back now. She was there whether he liked it or not – and he did not like it. Ahsoka told him that Master Koon had assigned her to the mission which was a complete lie.

They began to climb to gain access to the building and Ahsoka proved useful by being the only one small enough to crawl into a ventilation shaft when they discovered a shield covering the entrance. The group was successful in rescuing Piell but they also needed to rescue Captain Tarkin as well, as the pair had memorized half of coordinates for the Nexus Route in order to make sure it didn’t fall into Separatists’ hands. They were forced to split up and Ahsoka went with her Master and the other more injured clones while Kenobi and his group provided a distraction. Through the caves they went, fighting off anything that came their way and she developed a dislike for Tarkin pretty much instantly.

Their plan to meet up with R2 and the other group failed and they were all forced to flee further away from the Citadel while calling in for reinforcements. Koon was sent but had to break through the blockade around the planet while they made their way to the rendezvous point. Piell was lost along the way but Ahsoka was at his side and he told her his half of the information. Eventually they made it off the planet and back to Coruscant. While Tarkin wanted to go directly to the Chancellor, Ahsoka said that she promised Piell that the only people she would tell would be the Jedi Council. It would be left up to the Council and the Chancellor to come to an agreement on what to do with the information they possessed. However, it didn’t quite end there. Anakin, who suspected Ahsoka of disobeying his orders, asked Koon if he had indeed assigned his Padawan to the mission and he agreed – even though he hadn’t.

Sometime later they returned to Felucia, Ahsoka leading her own squadron on an attack from the rear while Skywalker and Koon attacked from different sides. She sensed something in the forest and made her squad go first. In the end it resulted in her being electrocuted and captured. When she woke it was in a cage on some unknown ship over some unknown planet with her Master’s voice calling to her over her comlink. It was crushed by her captor and she was eventually dumped onto a beach and shot at before she disappeared into the forest. Eventually she was found by other young Jedi and taken to the place where they hid at night. They told Ahsoka that they were prey for the Trandoshan and that all they could do was run and hide. She wanted to fight though and find a way off the planet and back to her Master.

The next day she found herself hunted and it was Kalifa who helped save her but there were more on the way so the group of four split up. Kalifa ended up dying, while Ahsoka killed the Trandoshan leader’s son. Ahsoka came up with a plan to go after the transport ship that dropped off new “prey” every few days. They ended up destroying the ship and set one of the prisoners free – a Wookie named Chewbacca. Ahsoka and Chewie went back to the ship sometime later to grab supplies so he could build a transmitter to contact his people on the nearby planet. However, the other two Jedi wanted to take the fight to the Trandoshan’s and Ahsoka couldn’t leave them alone to do it. Luckily they had captured one of the hunters and could use him to get a transport to take them to the floating base in the sky.

While they were fighting the transmitter worked and more Wookies came to help them fight the hunters. Ahsoka went after the leader, fighting him completely unarmed and Force-pushed him to his death as he wanted revenge for her killing his son. They were then taken back to the Temple where she met up with her Master who never stopped searching for her. She told him that it was due to his training that she not only survived but led others to survive too.

Next came the great water war on Mon Calamari. The prince, soon-to-be king, was not getting along with the other species in the sea, the Quarren. It didn’t help that Dooku was behind the Quarren. At first, Padmé and her Master were simply sent to negotiate between the two species but it broke out into all-out war and Ahsoka was one of the people who came in as extra support. Most of her time there was watching over the prince as his people were captured or killed. They tried to escape but their ship was destroyed and they were forced into hiding, even with the added support of the Gungan army. When everyone but the two of them were captured it was up to them to turn the tide of the war and they snuck into the enemy prison to rally the people. Then the prince allowed them to be captured and brought before the leader of the Warren to make a plea. With everyone working together they could destroy the Separatists and take back their planet. The Warren leader heard his plea and had his people arm the others. He saved the prince from execution while Ahsoka freed her Master. Together they took back the planet and the prince was accepted as the new king by all.

They were sent to the planet Kiros sometime after that to investigate the disturbance the Togruta colony experienced with the Separatists. However, when they got planetside they found no one but the enemy and hoped that they were just in hiding. Kenobi was called to have a meeting with the Separatist leader and he accepted. This was the point when Ahsoka found out that her Master had been a slave once and just how much he hated slavers. So she promised to look after him and stick with him. While Kenobi was chatting up the leader he activated his comlink and alerted them that there had been bombs placed all over the city. The two of them set off to disarm them all before they could be detonated. When they failed the leader attempted to leave the planet but Ahsoka and Anakin jumped onto his ship and damaged it. They got inside and kept Darts D'Nar from leaving. Her Master interrogated him aggressively but they managed to get the colonists location out of him.

Ahsoka Tano: Remind me why I'm the one playing the part of a slave?
Anakin Skywalker: I tried it once. I wasn't any good at it. Besides, the role of Master comes easily to me.
Ahsoka Tano: Really? Well this time try to be convincing at it.

When they went to Zygerria to find the slaves it was undercover. Skywalker, Kenobi and Rex all got to be slavers while Ahsoka was the slave which she disapproved of immensely. She drew attention to themselves by stopping a slaver from whipping an innocent person but it got them into the palace faster to see the Queen, so that was some good luck. Much to her disgust, Anakin wooed the Queen and she was presented as a gift to the woman. Elsewhere, Kenobi and Rex found the Togruta leader and attempted to free him only for Obi-Wan to get caught in the process. He was brought before the Queen and she wanted Anakin to teach him a lesson. It never came as the Jedi made their move and attacked. Only it was short-lived and this time they were all captured.

Ahsoka was put into a cage and literally hung out while she waited to be rescued. Hey, this is a good time to practice meditation with nothing else to do. Eventually Anakin came to free her as he’d become the Queen’s new pet and he sent her to wait in the ship for his signal. When she got it, Ahsoka piloted the ship to pick him up and they were off to Kadavo to rescue her people along with Kenobi and Rex. Koon joined them with his cruiser and they stormed the processing facility. Ahsoka veered off from her Master to go be with her people and to see how she could help from that end only to find that the walls of the room had been electrocuted and the floor was sliding out from under them. She told Koon to pilot his ship beneath the facility so that the Togruta could slide down towards freedom, hopefully before the whole place collapsed. The people were free, the slavers were without their Queen and their facility had been destroyed. All-in-all, a good mission’s work.

Ahsoka accompanied a group of Senators to Mandalore as they met on neutral ground to talk to Separatists representatives. Tensions were already high when Lux Bonteri entered the scene and declared that he had learned the truth behind his mother’s death. He accused Dooku of killing her, which was the truth and he was escorted out by Separatists troops. She followed him onto the ship and rescued him, bringing him back to her ship and leaving Mandalore. While she fully intended to take him back to Coruscant where he’d be safe, Lux had a different idea and stunned her, hijacking her ship to take them to Carlac to meet up with a group known as Death Watch. Despite the fact that she never had any contact with them before, Ahsoka knew of them from Kenobi and that they were not a group they wanted to get caught up with.

Luckily R2 had her lightsabers and hid them away before the members of Death Watch became suspicious, but she also suddenly became Lux’ fiancée. Not exactly something she wants to return home to tell her Master about. She was forced to go with them instead of staying with the ship and when they were alone she asked what Lux was doing with them. He told her it was all part of his plan to get captured by Separatists and face Dooku. With his device he could find out the Sith leader’s location and Death Watch could destroy him. Before she could complain too much they were approached and Lux tried to cover by kissing her. She was placed with the other young women that were held captive while Lux had his meeting with the leader of Death Watch. During the dinner that she had to serve the organization and people from the nearby settlement came in, demanding their women back.

The leader agreed that he would return them soon and they all made the trip out to the village. He returned the women, right before he killed one of them and ordered his men to burn down everything. Ahsoka couldn’t stand for that so she fought back and was captured by several of the members before being literally dragged back through the ice and snow to the camp. During their fun time with the members of Death Watch R2 made himself some droid friends who were willing to help them out. He got Ahsoka’s lightsabers to her and she freed herself from the restraints that held her. It was one-on-one then – her against the leader who had a darksaber. That’s where R2’s friends came in, they provided a distraction long enough for Ahsoka to get the upper hand so they could escape back to her ship. Once on board Lux took an escape pod because he still didn’t want to join the Republic.

Ahsoka Tano: I'm worried about Anakin. He hasn't said a word since it happened.

Sometime later she was back on Coruscant with Kenobi and Skywalker when suddenly they were attacked. All three went after the shooter but Kenobi felt to his death when he took a shot to the chest. The shooter got away and they later attended Kenobi’s funeral. Ahsoka and her Master hunted down the assassin to bring him to justice and put him in jail where he escaped not long after with Bane and another prisoner. For a while they did nothing but eventually they went after him and caught up to him. While Ahsoka was off crashing the ship, Anakin was confronting the murderer. By the time she joined the fight her Master was unconscious and all she could do was defend him until they left. When he came around he told her that Obi-Wan wasn’t dead (because we all know he can’t die here, he’s too young). Rather, he’d gone undercover as the shooter in order to discover the plot to assassinate the Chancellor.

Ahsoka didn’t see him again as when they reached Naboo she was assigned the task of protecting Padmé and the Queen. So when the action started she got them all to safety. In the end, the plot was adverted and Kenobi went back to being himself. Some unknown time after that they went to a cantina where they walked in on a disturbance. While the owner waved it off, Anakin said he felt a disturbance in the Force though Ahsoka didn’t. They waved it off and instead chose to enjoy an actual meal instead of rations.

After that they traveled to Onderon when they received a request for help from a group of rebels. Though the Jedi could not actually fight their battles as it was a Separatist-occupied planet, they could teach the rebels to fight in order to save their planet. Kenobi and Rex went along with them and they met up with Steela, Saw and once again Lux. During their training Separatist troops stumbled upon them and they were forced to flee the camp and sneak into the city to try and gain more support. Eventually the others left the planet and Ahsoka stayed behind to keep an eye on the rebellion’s progress but she was told not to interfere unless absolutely necessary.

Things changed when the Separatist leader decided to execute the king publicly. The rebel force staged a rescue and Ahsoka revealed herself, alerting the enemy that they had Jedi support. With the king rescued they fled the city and rallied the people to take back their planet. Eventually the battle came to them and they fought hard, Anakin sent pirates to arm them with more weapons. While the war on Onderon was won, the rebel leader had been killed and it was felt by all, even Ahsoka who had failed to save Steela from falling to her death. She stayed long enough to attend the funeral.

Personality:
Anakin Skywalker: There's been a mix-up. The youngling isn't with me.
Ahsoka Tano: Stop calling me that! You're stuck with me, Skyguy.
Anakin Skywalker: What did you just call me? Don't get snippy with me, little one. You know, I don't even think you're old enough to be a Padawan.

There's a very good reason why her master gave her the nickname "Snips" and that's because she was snippy the very first time they met. Which isn't exactly normal for a Jedi Padawan who's supposed to be respectful not just to their masters but to everyone. While she has learned to be more respectful to those around her, Ahsoka does still have the tendency to be a bit snippy with people. These days she reserves it for the enemy and her master on occasion. Ahsoka also tends to give people nicknames out of disrespect sometimes. She often refers to droids as "stick-tinnies" or has terrible names to call Ventress when they cross paths. At the beginning she even called Anakin "Skyguy" because he hadn't earned her respect yet. To her, respect is something that's not always freely given.

From the very beginning, Ahsoka has been the reckless sort. She takes risks that most Jedi wouldn't and being Anakin's Padawan hasn't helped at all considering he's just as reckless. At the start of their relationship he told her that she was too reckless to be Obi-Wan's Padawan, but that she might make it as his. Under his tutelage Ahsoka's recklessness has caused concern in other Masters. While the sheer outlandish plans have seemed to catch the enemy off-guard it can result in failure on her part rather than a victory. And failure means lives are lost.

Combine her reckless behavior with her stubborn determination and things can get worse. When she gets like this, Ahsoka tends to lose herself in the moment and plows on ahead without realizing the danger soon enough to retreat. This has resulted in the deaths of many clones under her command or to put them in greater danger. Sometimes, she can't see the whole picture and needs to be pulled out of the situation rather forcefully by someone else. When things don't go her way Ahsoka can tend to sulk - especially if she felt she could have pressed on and won. Retreating isn't something she likes to do but has learned that it is necessary if she's going to save lives.

Anakin Skywalker: First rule of war: listen and obey your superiors.
Ahsoka Tano: But sometimes you get carried away.
Anakin Skywalker: All that means is that I understand what you're going through.

Put all of it together and you get one Padawan who, on occasion, disobeys orders completely. More than once Ahsoka has completely ignored an order given to her by someone higher up. She's headstrong, even more when she thinks she's being treated unfairly or when Ahsoka feels that Anakin is being too overprotective of her. When she puts her mind to a task this is one girl who's absolutely going to do it, even if it means disobeying a direct order given to her. This was proven when her master refused to let her go on a rescue mission and Ahsoka went anyway without his permission. While her help had been useful it's still something that's frowned upon by the Jedi and people do happen to compare her to her master about this sort of thing.

Which brings us to another point. Jedi are taught to be truthful and yes, she is very honest. Sometimes it’s taken to an extreme and her honesty turns into a blunt dagger that can hurt. Yet, Ahsoka is also an excellent liar when she wants to be. She had Anakin believing that she'd been given orders to accompany him on that very same mission where she disobeyed his order. While her help had come in useful there had been some suspicion at one point and her master did actually ask if the order was true when they got back. Even though the other master didn't give up her lie it was still there. It wasn't the first time she had lied to him either, the other was when her lightsaber had been stolen and she wanted to get it back without him knowing she'd lost it. Other than those rare moments, Ahsoka is an honest sort of person.

Another of her traits that have caused other masters concern is her aggressive nature. Ahsoka is the sort to take an offensive position over a defensive one. Rushing in to strike down enemies instead of staying back to deflect and protect. That doesn't mean she won't defend just that she prefers to defeat the foe quickly. She's generally on the front line of a battle, leading the way. There are times when that aggression comes out in other ways, such as threatening a foe into giving up important information. While she wouldn't necessarily go through with it (especially if they were unarmed), it is something a Jedi shouldn't do.

Ahsoka can also be competitive at times, mostly notable when she was a bit younger and usually with her master. They took count of how many droids they destroyed and would tease the loser after about it. Yes, it’s important to win the battles but they can have fun while doing it. Speaking of. Despite the fact that Ahsoka is a Padawan stuck in the middle of a terrible war she hasn’t lost that jovial spark. She won’t hesitate to tease her master or sass a boy even while fighting or during an important mission. At times the relationship she has with Anakin can be pretty casual, more like they were family than master and apprentice.

She also has a pretty great sense of humor, all things considered. Being in a war hasn’t dampened it completely even if she does have a more serious side to her. There’s a unique sarcasm and feistiness to her that some Jedi wouldn’t approve of. Of course, Anakin really doesn’t help the matter as he sometimes goes along with it or doesn’t always reprimand it sternly enough to be effective. A Padawan learns a lot from her master but this was always a side to Ahsoka that’s always been there.

Impatience is yet another trait she shares with her master. It’s hard to sit and wait for something to happen when she feels like she should be doing something. While this has gotten better, she has yet to completely master finding patience. When she does finally reach her limit that is when her mouth tends to get her into trouble with the sarcasm. Usually it lands her in trouble, especially if she’s been caught by the enemy because she just can’t seem to not provoke them.

Ahsoka Tano: You taught me well. I can handle anything.
Anakin Skywalker: Don't get cocky.

Ahsoka can get overconfident in her abilities. Her own master has told her not to get cocky on the battlefield. While she has gotten stronger in her abilities she still has much to learn. That cockiness of hers has lead her into trouble on more than one occasion and sometimes she needs help in order to get out of it. Yet there are times when she realizes that she can’t do something by herself and attempts to enlist the help of those around her.

The last of the negative side she shares with her master is one of attachment. Like him, Ahsoka tends to get attached to people -- which is forbidden to the Jedi. She has a hard time letting go of those she cares for deeply and it has nearly interfered with a situation. When Anakin was badly hurt she initially refused to leave his side in fear of losing him and it was only at the insistence of another master that made her go to find help. Accepting the death of a person is supposed to be something a Jedi does but she finds it difficult and honestly, Ahsoka would fight to the death to protect the people she cares about.

Like Anakin the idea of being compassionate but not forming attachment just doesn’t make sense to her. While she understands the concept of not risking thousands of lives just to save one Ahsoka would still try to save that one anyway. And she is very compassionate. Not only to those that she’s formed some kind of bond to but also to those she hardly knows. It shows in the way she looks after people, especially those who are innocent. She can be gentle with them, trying to soothe their fear or make them feel better. Even though her recklessness does tend to get the clones killed, Ahsoka does get upset over it after. When it first happened it made her doubt herself to the point where she very nearly didn’t want to become a leader again. There’s also been a bit of a maternal instinct shown over the time she’s been Anakin’s apprentice as she’s looked after younglings.

Ahsoka Tano: When I was out there, alone, all I had was your training and the lessons you taught me. And because of you, I did survive. And not only that, I was able to lead others to survive as well.

And yet, despite the fact that she can’t let other people die Ahsoka is very selfless in this. She will, and has, risked her own life to save other people or to complete a very important mission. There was no thought to her own life when she brought a weapons factory down on her, not until after when she survived the blast. That doesn’t mean Ahsoka won’t fight with everything she has until her very last breath – quite the opposite, actually. She has a very strong sense of survival and will do anything she can to stay alive. Ahsoka would rather go down fighting than just lie down and wait for death.

Of course, it helps that Ahsoka has a lot of faith in her master. She knows that he won’t give up on her (even though he too should be able to accept death) and will keep looking for her when she’s lost. Just like she won’t give up on him, either. Ahsoka trusts him, often with her life but there are times when she feels that she has to look out for him – has to stop him from doing acts a Jedi shouldn’t. While it’s a bit of a joke that she has to watch his back, there is truth to it. She’s seen how he can get over certain issues, like how he doesn’t talk about his past or the way he handled slavers or even Obi-Wan’s supposed death.

When Anakin was asked what her strength was he said that she was fearless and it’s true, she is fearless. Ahsoka was fourteen when she stepped onto the battlefield, eager to gain experience and she hasn’t run away or said she couldn’t keep watching people die. No, she’s risen to the task of being a Padawan to a general in the war, even when she did doubt herself. There’s no hesitation in risking her own life even though she’s still so young. In fact, she eagerly accepts the missions given to her (and those that aren’t) and would rather do them over other more mundane tasks.

Because of her experience on the battlefield and Anakin’s teachings, she’s become quite the leader. When she needs to fill this role Ahsoka takes it seriously and leads her troops valiantly to the point where they trust her. Yet it’s not just on the everyday battlefield that she’s proven her role as a leader but also in other various situations. She inspired future leaders into taking action against the corruption kept secret on her world and brought hope when there was none left. While she obviously still has some growing up to do and a lot left to learn about being a leader, Ahsoka’s got a pretty good grasp on it so far.

Like most people she’s not perfect, she makes mistakes (accidentally or deliberate) but Ahsoka always accepts the blame. She’s not one to make excuses for herself or get out of a punishment, though she will complain about it or sulk. More than anything the guilt she would feel over a terrible mistake that cost lives is far more efficient in being a punishment than anything the Council or her Master could assign to her. Of course, she won’t accept taking the blame for someone else – not when it’s over something serious. Ahsoka is one who believes people should take responsibility for their own actions rather then try to blame someone else.

Strengths
Physical:
- Despite her young age, Ahsoka has a powerful connection to the Force.
- The Force can be used to enhance physical skills such as strength, endurance, agility, durability and reflexes. Mostly she uses it to propel herself across the battlefield by enhancing her acrobatic skills or utilizing the Force Jump.
- As a Jedi, she's been trained for combat. This includes a lightsaber, hand-to-hand combat, and a staff.
- Ahsoka uses her lightsaber differently than most Jedi, holding it in a reverse grip in a style called Shien. While she can and does wield in a proper grip, the Shien is her preferred style. She was also trained in the style of Ataru and the basic forms of Niman. On the battlefield she darts back and forth to wear out her enemy. At some point Ahsoka picked up the Jar'Kai, which allows her to wield two lightsabers - the other one being a shoto (shorter blade). It's good to use against multiple opponents or against one who has more than one.
- The Togrutan, her species, are capable of a form of passive echolocation known as visuospatial awareness. Her montrals (the horns on top of her head) have hollow spaces allow her to sense the proximity and movement of physical objects around her. Of course, she has to focus to use this and therefore it doesn't bother her when there are sudden loud/high pitched noises unless she's actively using it.
- Ahsoka is not only a talented pilot, she's also learned how to analyze technical scans of a ship. This latter ability came from Anakin's teaching after she became his Padawan.
- Another thing her Master has taught her is about mechanics. She can repair vehicles or just use it to get her out of a tough situation.
- She can telekinetically move objects or even people. Ahsoka has shown that she can pluck a human being out of the air and lift them to safety.
- Over the years, Ahsoka has learned several languages. Basic - the most-used language spoken throughout the galaxy. Togruti - the language of the Togruta. While she didn't live on her homeplanet very long, it her native language and is heavily influenced by Basic. Shyriiwook - the language of the Wookies. It's something Ahsoka can understand when it's spoken to her. Kel Dor - the language of Kel Dor. Thanks to Master Plo Koon, Ahsoka has learned his native language enough to get by. Binary - the "language" of astromech droids...okay, it doesn't just go for astromech droids and it's not binary as we would view it. This language consists of various sounds and Ahsoka isn't exactly fluent in speaking or understanding it but she is learning to identify certain sounds as moods or feelings from spending so much time around Artoo.
Mental:
- Due to the Force, Ahsoka can sense the feelings of others around her also known as empathy.
- The Jedi have a trick that allow them to sway the thoughts of weak-willed beings. She has learned how to do this but isn't exactly an expert at it.
- On very rare occasions Ahsoka can have premonitions of the future. Usually this is limited to people she has feelings for and the visions are never really clear.
- Over the course of her time with Anakin she has shown that she has great potential to be an excellent strategist. She can not only put together a plan that involves a whole battalion of clones but also when the original plan goes wrong, showing that she can think on her feet.
- She has demonstrated the ability to use the Force to choke someone, though Ahsoka doesn't use this much.
- Mediation is something all Jedi learn how to do from a young age and she's no exception. Unlike her Master, Ahsoka has the patience to mediate the way all Initiates are taught but does sometimes prefer the action of working on a ship instead.
Emotional:
- Ahsoka is a loyal individual. This applies to not just her teachings and the Order but also to those she forms attachments to. Once a person has earned her trust and loyalty, it's hard to break.
- Like Anakin, she has formed attachments to people (despite the Jedi Code saying otherwise).
- She has shown that she's good at inspiring others to do what needs to be done.
- Much to her Master's dismay Ahsoka is the sort of person who's willing to lay down her life if necessary. If it's for the greater good or to save someone else, there isn't any hesitation.
- That said she is also a survivor. Just because she would sacrifice herself doesn't mean Ahsoka won't try everything in order to keep living. This is the girl who brought down a factory on her own head but made a signal so she could be found.

Togruta Species info
- Despite having spent only three years among her own species, she is prone to grouping with others. Especially if there are more Togruta as she has a sense of unity among them. Individualism is rare among her species but Ahsoka is also a Jedi so it was something she had to adjust to. Togruta have an aversion to solitude and isolation, so much so that they often making an effort to seek out friends and the same can be said of Ahsoka, mostly. There are times when she definitely wants to be alone. Both of these species traits might play a role in her tendency to get attached to people when she shouldn't.

While they are generally tranquil and quiet, Ahsoka is neither of these things - she talks a lot and can be quite aggressive in nature. As she matures this does change a little. When they need to be, Togruta can be fierce warriors which she tends to lean more towards. They fight in groups and while Ahsoka can do the same, she can also fight alone if necessary, something she had to adapt to while growing up as a Jedi. They are also a carnivorous species but she can eat rations.

Weaknesses
Physical:
- Just because she isn't human doesn't mean she doesn't get hurt like one. In fact, she's just as vulnerable as one.
- Over time Ahsoka has become dependent on her second blade and can struggle against a stronger opponent if she only has one.
- It could be seen as weakness that she only eats meat. This means when there isn't any meat to be found, she could go hungry.
Mental:
- Just because she forms attachments, doesn't mean it's a good thing. In fact, the whole idea of being compassionate yet detached is a never-ending conflict for her.
- Ahsoka knows very little of politics - especially the politics involving the current war despite Padmé's attempt to teach her. She isn't so sure that the war is as black and white as she once thought it was.
- Two years of war have made an impact on her. Ahsoka is used to be always being surrounded by a lot of people - whether in the Temple, on a ship or even planetside. Adjusting to smaller numbers will take a while.
- On that same note, she's used to generally having something to do. Training can only take up so much time.
- Ahsoka does not like being called a youngling and gets snippy about it.
- Losing someone to death is a horrible experience for Ahsoka both mentally and emotionally depending on how close she is with them. When she barely knows them, it takes a toll on her mental capacity and can shake her thoughts to the core. However when she has some sort of attachment it leaves a deeper wound and rocks her emotionally as well.
Emotional:
- Yes, the Dark Side is powerful but it is consuming and Ahsoka is probably closer to it than most Padawans. Who wouldn't with Anakin as their master? She was once completely consumed by it and was only saved from it by a powerful entity. But there are still traces of darkness in her and if she's not careful it will take her over.
- That loyal side of her tends to leave her blind to the faults of those she trusts. In the end, it is this quality that leads her eventually leave the Order.
- The attachment she isn't isn't supposed to have would compel her to disobey orders or put herself in danger in order to protect the people she cares about most.
- Her emotions aren't as controlled as they would be for most Jedi. They're not as wild as Anakin's but also aren't anything like Yoda's.
- The worst of her emotions would be anger. While she's not as bad as she used to be, Ahsoka doesn't hold back when she's upset about something. At least she's stopped trying to fight resistance with violence.
- Overconfident/cockiness this can get her into trouble when she believes she can do something but ends up in over her head.
- Patience is something she struggles with too, especially when there is something she could be doing instead.

Anything else?:
Jedi are simple creatures so Ahsoka doesn't have much in the way of possessions. She has her clothes and the lightsaber that all Jedi carry around but she also has a second one known as a shoto. This has a shorter handle and blade but otherwise it is just like a lightsaber. At this current canon point she also has bandages wrapped around her upper torso from a blaster shot to the left shoulderblade.

SAMPLES

First Person: Snippiest Padawan ever

Third Person:
This world was quiet. It didn’t have the steady hum of her Master’s flagship or the throbbing pulse of a trillion lives. No, in comparison to the places she spent most of her life this place was quiet. Honestly Ahsoka didn’t know what to do with herself most of time now that she was here. There was training and helping Anakin with some of his projects but suddenly there was an excess of free time that she hasn’t had in two years. War has been such a big part of the last two years that without it there’s been a gaping hole left in its wake.

It was almost peaceful.

The idea made her smirk as she remembered what she’d once told her friend, Barriss. Once upon a time, Ahsoka hadn’t known how peacetime would agree with her Master and now here she was - feeling rather aimless. Two years ago she never would have thought that she’d be in the position she thought Anakin would be.

That was the reason she found herself wandering around the town center without a purpose in mind. It was here where people seemed to congregate the most due to the shops. She folded the tiny wings against her back as closely as possibly and crossed her arms over her chest. Pain spread from the action from both the brand new wings that sprouted from her back along with the still-healing wound that was located in nearly the same position and Ahsoka couldn’t help but wince a little. The seared muscles from the blaster shot screamed but a few calm breaths made it bearable even though if it became a constant burning sensation. It might not be less painful than allowing the wings to hang naturally but this way no one could accidentally brush against them. When it had happened right after her arrival, she’d almost passed out from the pain.

Now prepared to battle the crowds of the shops, she slipped into the nearest one. Smells of something strong immediately assaulted her nose and it wrinkled. This place reminded her of the caf drink some species were known to drink, especially in the morning. Some of the clones drank it by the pot. There was also some sort of bread behind a pane of glass. Ahsoka had never found the appeal in these foods but she supposed it was another part of being a Togruta. She’d never been able to eat vegetables or fruits of any kind and because of that, none of it had smelled good.

When one of the workers greeted her with a cheery smile, she returned it with one of her own. However she simply shook her head when they asked if they could help her. Ahsoka quickly made her escape out into the fresh air.

“Never going in there again,” she muttered to herself.

By the time the single sun had set and left the sky dark Ahsoka had visited every store in the square, lingering in some more than others. She made her way back to the house that belonged to Anakin and Padmé’s son. Outside the door, Ahsoka hesitated for a long moment. In that house was a son her Master was going to have one day with his wife. It wasn’t unheard of for a Jedi to have children or wives – Master Mundi had five wives to help repopulate the species. He claimed to not have any attachment to them and she believed that – even if Ahsoka couldn’t comprehend how someone could accomplish that. Master Mundi was what she’d grown up to think a Jedi should be but it was different with her own Master. Anakin loved his wife, which went against everything the Order had taught her. Really, it wasn’t that part that bothered her. Anakin had always been different from the rest of the Jedi.

She simply felt out of place - like she was intruding on something. Her Master didn’t have to hide his relationship or his feelings and even the Senator could do the same here. Obi-Wan seemed to have known for a while and had the time to adjust to the situation this world had caused. Of course there was the son she didn’t even know who was technically born after her but was now older. The whole thing felt awkward. Ahsoka felt like she should find a place to hunker down for a while until the Skywalker family was better adjusted. Until she adjusted.

It was another emotional situation to add on top of the one she’d come here with. Ahsoka hadn’t yet accepted Steela’s death or her unreturned feelings for Lux. Attempting to think about it along with all of the things she learned about her Master almost made her turn on her heel and disappear into the forest for a while. She rubbed at her arms to warm them up from the chill of the night air and strengthened her resolve. Running away wouldn’t solve anything, it wouldn’t bring Steela back or make her heart hurt less or help the people she cared about. So it’s with her emotions under tight control that she finally entered the house.

“I’m back.” This wasn’t home. Home was the Temple on Coruscant or the flagship. At least, it wasn’t home yet.
